I started my journey in the creative industry as a family photographer. I absolutely loved photography from the beginning (and still do!), but I found myself drawn to the digital marketing aspects of running a business.
After taking a handful of online marketing and courses for small business owners, I applied for a job.
I was offered the position of Marketing & Outreach Coordinator for a creative e-commerce company that created digital resources for entrepreneurs. This job was a dream.
I eventually outgrew my position at this small company, and found myself in the position of Blog Editor & Product Photographer for a medium sized e-commerce company in the bustling wedding industry. This job quickly led to the position of Social Media Strategist, and I loved it.
After moving cross country, and working from a remote location, I decided it was time to venture out on my own. I launched my business, and named it Social Strategy Co. Because of my past success with social marketing, I thought that's where I should focus. But after months of offering social strategy, I realized that my clients needed a marketing strategy with a bigger picture. I also discovered my sweet spot during this time - marketing digital products. Whether it was an ebook or a Lightroom preset, my clients wanted passive income to make the slow months a bit steadier.
Because of my eclectic resume helping e-commerce companies market their digital products online, I was able to help entrepreneurs break into the digital product space easily and effectively.
